The Hilton Portland & Executive Tower

The Art of Success 2007 will be held at the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower, located right in the center of beautiful Downtown Portland, Oregon. Known as the "city of books, bikes and blooms", Portland visitors will find a wide variety of cultural attractions, historic sites, outdoor recreation, wonderful shopping and gourmet restaurants right outside your hotel doors.

Discounted rates:

  • $147/night for Single/Double

Oregon has no sales tax; however, there is a hotel tax of 12.5% per night. Cut-off date for conference rate reservations: Saturday, September 29, 2007.

You have two options for making your reservations: by phone or online. Your valid credit card information will be needed. When making reservations by phone, please identify yourself as part of “Columbia Ultimate Art of Success” to receive our special rate.

A deposit equal to one night’s stay will be required to hold your reservation. Checks, money orders or a valid American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diner’s Club Card or Carte Blanch credit card are acceptable payment methods. In order to receive a refund of this charge, guests must cancel a reservation at least three (3) working days prior to arrival. At the time of arrival, each guest must confirm departure date. NOTE: Any early departure will be charged $50.00.

Arrival

Please note: the hotel consists of two buildings (Main & Executive Tower) situated on one city block. Please review your reservation room type for building assignment. For those with reservations in the EXECUTIVE TOWER, you will want to use the alternate address for easy room access. We recommend you enter at 545 SW Taylor. All others use 921 SW Sixth Avenue.

Transportation

The Hilton Portland & Executive Tower is 9 miles southwest of Portland International Airport. For up-to-the-minute airport information, please visit www.flypdx.com. Upon your arrival, a variety of Ground Transportation options are available. Travel times vary with 30 minutes being the average time.

Light Rail
Portland’s popular and award-winning public transit service, Tri-Met, offers the only West Coast airport station with direct Terminal access. For a detailed video of the airport train, please click here. This economical option takes you to within three blocks of the hotel for about $2.00.

Shuttle Service
Blue Star Transportation Service provides a daily Downtown Express Shuttle service on each half hour for most of the day. Follow the signs for Ground Transportation past Baggage Claim to the Shuttle Stop for Blue Star. Shuttle cost is $14.00 one way. Reservations are not required. For more info, please click here.

Taxi
Your fare to the hotel will be approximately $25 and will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes, depending upon time of day.

Rental Car
Five major rental car companies are located at the Airport Terminal. Follow the Ground Transportation signs and once outside Baggage Claim, cross over both loading zone sections into the Airport Parking Garage. Offices are not open 24 hours, so please get hours of operation from your car company. There are also shuttles available for companies located outside of the terminal. Shuttle stops are located at various points along the curb at the Baggage Claim level.
