As with each release of The Collector System, our goal has been to increase the effectiveness of your software. We’ve added brand-new features to increase functionality, and enhanced existing features to make it more intuitive and easy-to-use.
With The Collector System 2007.1 release, we have an incredible number of brand-new features, including dialer enhancements, new reports for credit reporting, and an interface to Experian’s Collection Advantage. We’ve also improved our “tried & true” functionality, with enhancements to Credit Reporting, Account Flow Manager, and the agency-memos feature.

Brand-New Features
We are pleased to be offering the following new features: CU•Converse Dialer enhancements that includes caller ID by campaign, inbound skills based call routing, and interactive voice messaging. For more information on the dialer enhancements, please refer to Devin Coy’s article “Better ID Verification and Personalization in Dialer Solutions” in this newsletter.
For credit reporting, we’ve added two new reports that will make the process of credit reporting easier and more informative.
This release also has a new interface to Experian’s Collection Advantage, which will allow purchasing of specific data elements to efficiently collect on accounts; all the while keeping costs down.
Enhancements - Tried & True Features
The enhancement to the “agency-memos” feature now enables authorized users to see what changes have been made to one of more than 15 defined areas of The Collector System.
We also continue to improve our Credit Reporting functionality. The “Take Action on Accounts” function has been enhanced to process multiple accounts at once. For example, users will be able to mass cancel credit reporting on a list of accounts.
Users of the Account Flow Manager (AFM) feature will love the latest enhancement. From within the Condition screen, users are able to view or update an Action or Event without leaving the Condition screen. This enables AFM users to be able to design or troubleshoot strategies more efficiently.
Moving Forward
You can expect to see many more new features and functionality added to The Collector System in the coming months. We are working on an interface to Electronic Payment Providers, which will allow you to offer alternative payment options such as credit cards and ACH payments. Users will be able to accept and process credit cards through a real-time interface and ACH payments can be scheduled for batch processing.
Additional enhancements planned for our next release include partial masking of sensitive data, an enhanced Collector Window that will show more critical data at one time, as well as an option to maintain financial transactions for a specified period of time. We will also make The Collector System compatible with PCL compatible printers.
