Ken Nielson, Client Care Lead, has been with Columbia Ultimate since 1984. During his time here, Ken has worn many different hats, but now specializes in The Collector System. What has kept Ken here for over 23 years? “First and foremost it’s the people, those I work with here in the office, as well as our clients. I’ve come to know many of them very well over the years…The working environment we’ve built over time, and been able to maintain, makes coming to work enjoyable and satisfying.”
One of the perks of working in Client Care for Ken is the personal satisfaction that comes from solving a problem for a client that makes their life and work a little bit easier. He believes that in taking care of clients, there is more to it than just “doing the job.” Resolving incidents requires him to “sleuth” through the software, putting together clues in order to arrive at a confident resolution.
Outside of work, Ken enjoys spending time with his wife at their home in the country – complete with a pond, creek, pool, ATVs, and acres of trails. He also enjoys skiing, hiking, swimming, running, and playing the piano.
