It was a pleasure to see old friends and meet new ones at the recent CU Users Group conference in Las Vegas. It is my hope that you came away from the conference with tools to help you be even more successful. As always, I appreciate all the feedback I received – it is invaluable in helping us to better meet your needs and be a partner in your success.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Amy Jahraus from The Affiliated Group for her years of leadership as President of the CU Users Group. Congratulations to Steve Stewart from H&R Accounts on his appointment as the new President. We know Steve will do a wonderful job, and we are looking forward to working with him and the rest of the CU Users Group Board so we can best respond to the needs of Columbia Ultimate users.
Mark Neeb, President of The Affiliated Group, also delivered a very insightful presentation at the conference entitled “Key Attributes of An Outstanding Agency.” He has graciously agreed to let us publish his thoughts here in our newsletter. We remain committed to our vision of delivering extraordinary client care and creating that “wow” experience for you. A vision is like an organization’s northbound train – it implies an unwavering commitment to a particular direction. A vision takes time and it requires us to increase our knowledge about the industry, and your business, and continually “sharpen our saw” in everything we do.
While at the Users Group Conference, we received overwhelming feedback about the need for a knowledge base. I am pleased to share with you that we recently implemented a knowledge base for our telephony clients that will aid them in learning how to derive even greater benefit from our products. We will pilot this knowledge base over the course of the next several months and roll it out to our other clients later this year.
I would like to personally invite each of you to our annual client conference Art of Success, which will be held October 22-24 in Portland, Oregon. Last year’s conference was a tremendous success, and we expect this year to be even better. I hope that you will take the opportunity to learn and grow with us, and I look forward to seeing you in October.
