As part of our ongoing mission to enhance and strengthen our client care, Columbia Ultimate has begun a new initiative to provide associates with training programs based on the following books:
- The Fred Factor
- The Platinum Rule
- The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People
- Winners Never Cheat
These books touch on key principles that serve as a great platform from which to continually improve, reinvent and strive to realign our efforts and our focus to better serve you. We believe that the more we grow and increase our value as individuals, the more we have to share with our families, our friends, our fellow associates, and most importantly—our clients.
Everyday, Columbia Ultimate associates are encouraged to ask the following key questions to identify how we as individuals can better meet and exceed client needs:
- “Am I growing?”
- “What is my value to my company and am I increasing it?”
- “Do I feel good about my contribution to my team?”
- “Do I focus more on activity or accomplishment?”
- “Is my life in balance?”
Mark Sanborn, the author of The Fred Factor suggests practicing the One-A-Day Plan:
Doing one extraordinary thing each day, whether at home, at work, or just out and about can make a significant difference:
- One kind or thoughtful remark
- One extra push to solve a clients problem
- One unexpected or anonymous act of service
- One instance of really listening to another person
- One smile or hello
At Columbia Ultimate, we embrace the One-A-Day plan, and aim to deliver increased value and services to the industry, the markets we serve and you.
