Happy New Year! I wanted to take this opportunity to
express my sincere gratitude to our clients, partners and colleagues who have continuously contributed to Columbia Ultimate's steady growth and success.
I'd also like to welcome our 61 new clients who chose Columbia Ultimate in 2007.
I am delighted to introduce you to our company and look forward to serving you for many years to come.
Many of you made a trip to Portland, Oregon in October to attend the Art of Success conference. "Learn and Grow" was this year's theme, and I was inspired to see so many of you sharing, learning and growing together. As our industry continues to face new market challenges and opportunities, events like Art of Success will be even more vital to helping in your longterm success.
This year's event featured an excellent line up of speakers ranging from Toni Nuernberg of ACA who shared an insight into key legislative issues that will impact our industry, to Meagan Johnson, a multigenerational behavior expert
who presented a funny and informative discussion on how to change your perception in a positive way. Today's workforce and marketplace are as diverse and complex as ever with four generations working, collaborating and conflicting together. Meagan shared with us how to successfully attract, communicate with and manage people from every generation.
New to this year was our Executive Track, which featured ten stimulating and challenging sessions focused on various aspects of your business from technologies such as analytics and skip tracing to panels and roundtables on future trends and best practices.
We also featured three additional tracks: healthcare trends with a focus on ManageMed, our product specifically designed for healthcare receivables follow up; government collection trends with emphasis on RPCS and Revenue Results products designed for our public sector clients; and hands–on training for The Collector System to help users maximize the solution's functionality and features. The conference learning sessions were followed by two full day instructor led training sessions on areas ranging from constructing custom reports to automating your account flow processes with Account Flow Manager.
Appreciation goes out to our clients and partners for their involvement and contribution to make Art of Success a great event. We had an excellent turnout and the feedback has been very positive. We are looking forward to the 2008 Art of Success, and hope to see many of you there.
