Dan Tippetts is chief operating officer for Columbia Ultimate in charge of overseeing client care and the finance and administration areas for the company.

Tippetts comes to Columbia Ultimate from DataResults Corp. where he was responsible for business development, product management and sales. Prior to Data Results, Tippetts served 16 years at Columbia Ultimate in a range of management positions, including client sales manager in charge of developing and implementing sales processes, division manager for the software operating group and business development responsibilities in the B2B and telephony areas.

Tippetts began his career in sales and business development at ADP Dealer Services, which markets software applications and hardware systems to automotive and truck dealerships. He directed all professional services for the western operating divisions of the company and later moved to development with product development responsibilities.

He holds a bachelor's of science in business from Brigham Young University and has completed advanced studies in accounting, tax and auditing from the University of Utah.
